島田陽研究室
京都市立芸術大学 美術学部デザイン科 総合デザイン専攻（環境デザイン）
建築家・島田陽（タトアーキテクツ主宰）により2021年10月より運営されている研究室です。
2023年10月より、土井亘特任教授と協働で運営しています。
主な活動に、北野天満宮での期間限定茶室の建設、
朽木（滋賀県高島市）での京都府立大学・スイス連邦工科大学チューリッヒ校 ETHとの合同ワークショップなどがあります。
研究と設計と制作を往復しながら、環境をつくることを学びます。
Yo Shimada Lab
Environmental Design, Integrated Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Kyoto City University of Arts
A laboratory led by architect Yo Shimada, principal of Tato Architects.
Since October 2023, the lab has been co-directed with Specially Appointed Professor Wataru Doi.
Recent activities include the construction of a temporary tea house at Kitano Tenmangū Shrine, Kyoto,
and joint workshops with ETH Zürich and Kyoto Prefectural University in Kutsuki, Takashima.
Through moving between research, design, and making, the lab learns to create environments.
